  • Playing: SotN, CV III, anything I can get my hands on.

So.

My girlfriend said to me a few days ago "Hey look this guy is playing Vampire Killer on piano!", youtube link followed. And ever since then I have gone into a sort of revival of Castlevania. Seriously, its like Halloween inside my head. I started ANOTHER new game of Symphony of the Night, and if I could find the rom, I'd be playing III aswell. I have come to think of candles in the same sense that a kung fu movie thinks of pots. I hum Wicked Child and Bloody Tears (loudly) in the shower.

What do you guys think? What is your favorite Castlevania and why? Are there any villains cooler than Slogra and Gaibon? Does anyone hate Medusa Heads more than I? Simon or Trevor? Richter or Alucard? Maria smut anyone?

:3 I'm sorry. I just nerded all over this entry. I'll clean it up.

There's a guy on youtube who plays Clockwork from CVIII on piano with a bag over his head. Its better than porn for me, seriously.

Symphony of the Night is by far the best.


The first Castlevania on the DS was really incredible as well. The gameplay in that one made Soma Cruz one of my favorite characters.

ok this is just SAD you have two..TWO! people who have not played castlevania. That is just wrong. Also if ya do get a DS get the Castlevania double pack. It has the first one on it and the other game isn't bad either.

Haha, fair enough. Although if you describe any videogame character, they will always sound a bit silly, like the game where there's an Italian plumber who can shoot fireballs and has to save a Princess who's named after a fruit over and over again because there's this crazy monster turtle of doom who keeps changing castles...Phew!
